The Technical Architect role is a customer-facing position within Professional Services and Customer Success, working with engineers, project managers, and solution architects to design, build, and support GitLab-based solutions that help customers modernize DevSecOps at scale in GitLab's all-remote, asynchronous, values-driven environment.
Responsibilities include leading end-to-end consulting engagements, owning the software development lifecycle for projects, translating business goals into architecture and implementation plans, delivering services in areas such as SCM migration, cloud architecture, and CI/CD, mentoring others, and creating repeatable delivery materials.
Requirements include progressive enterprise software development experience, deep Git and source-control expertise, experience delivering consulting in at least two areas (SCM migration, cloud architecture, software development, or CI/CD), ability to lead discovery and design sessions, strong communication skills, and fluency in Arabic and English.
