We design, build, and support our own software — including shipped consumer and healthcare applications — and we run every project with direct founder involvement rather than handing it to a queue. Our Atlassian work is built on Forge. That is a deliberate choice: a Forge app runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure, so customer data never reaches a server of ours, there is no third party to add to a vendor assessment, and security review is simpler for everyone.
