After years of wrestling with the limitations of systems like Jira, Zendesk, and other tracking platforms — building workarounds that technically worked but were a nightmare to maintain — I set out to create the kind of tools I always wished existed: simple, intuitive, and easy to support long-term. We're committed to fast, quality support for our products whenever you need it. And we're always open to feature suggestions — if it helps you, chances are it'll help others too.

Akvola makes focused, lightweight apps for Atlassian Cloud — tools that do one job well, without the bloat or surprises of the big suites. Everything we build runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform under the Runs on Atlassian program: your data stays in the Atlassian cloud, with no external services and nothing to host. Our first app, Greenlight, adds simple page approvals to Confluence — an approval status on the page, an Approve button for the right people, an automatic reset when content changes, and an optional lock after approval. Independent and responsive — we focus on a few apps and on getting the details right.
