The Senior Professional Services Engineer will work with customers to deliver installation, migration, and advisory services, leading engagements from single-node Omnibus installs to large IaC/Configuration as Code reference architectures and migrations to GitLab SaaS or self-managed deployments.
In this role, you’ll partner with Engagement Managers and Project Managers, translate customer goals into practical implementation plans, interface with product and engineering teams to unblock outcomes, mentor junior engineers, and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
Candidates should have experience with infrastructure- or configuration-as-code technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Chef, Kubernetes), exposure to multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), solid GitLab and security/AI knowledge, and strong written and spoken English for a remote, asynchronous environment.
