In customer advocacy, they assist Marketing with campaigns, participate in customer retrospectives, build and run demonstrations with Adaptavist partners (primarily Atlassian, GitLab, and AWS), provide thought leadership, seek opportunities via competitor analysis, and communicate complex technical messages to varied audiences while ensuring the delivery engagement addresses the agreed problem statement. They promote Adaptavist at industry events, plan tactical actions within key accounts to support account plan outcomes, collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute actions, and leverage industry contacts and customer feedback to drive business development and successful deliveries.

The Commercial Operations team at Adaptavist focuses on enabling growth through contract management, compliance, and risk management, with a primary role of supporting the Germany General Counsel in contract and legal matters, especially reviews and negotiations. It includes development and management of contract and legal operations, such as maintaining templates, defining processes, and aligning with other departments, along with knowledge management. It covers compliance topics like data protection, privacy, DORA, and e-commerce, with a regulatory focus on Germany and the DACH region, and support for the internal compliance group. Responsibilities include independently reviewing and negotiating a broad range of contracts (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, software purchasing), working on RFPs and compliance questionnaires, potential signature decisions, and maintaining contract documentation and related IT systems, while providing peer reviews and collaborating with process and knowledge specialists. The role emphasizes balancing risk with Adaptavist’s global strategy, improving cross-team training, playbooks, templates, and processes for contract management, and assisting with company-wide compliance programs as needed.
