The Application Administrator (German speaker) will work with clients to maximize their Atlassian software by configuring and customizing Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk, and other Atlassian and marketplace applications as a remote administrator for multiple clients. This partially outsourced role involves acting as the day-to-day remote administrator, responding to requests on a priority basis to tailor the software to each client's needs. Responsibilities include onboarding and becoming familiar with customer application servers, monitoring and responding to requests via the Adaptavist service desk, and advising on how to best use Atlassian applications. The role entails creating projects, configuring permissions and workflows, and performing various administrative activities according to agreed-upon customer priorities, while communicating with customers and team members to implement configuration solutions. You will record work and time, follow customer security protocols, and solve issues by applying best-practice recommendations and Adaptavist tools and processes.
