The role is Engineering Team Lead for the ScriptRunner for Confluence Cloud product, remote-first with an optional Toronto office, and GTA-based to accommodate occasional in-person needs, collaborating with an Engineering Manager and the broader Product team. You will lead a team practicing continuous delivery, grow the team through mentoring and coaching, and act as the most senior engineer to facilitate solution design and coordinate input from other engineering teams, while prioritizing autonomy, mastery, practice, doing the right thing, and paying down technical debt. Responsibilities include providing a platform for developers to perform tasks of varying complexity, assisting with product priority setting, delivering updates to key stakeholders, and ensuring the team has the right tools and freedom to deliver and innovate. You will lead the software development team following agile processes. The role also covers people management and engineering work: hiring/onboarding, mentoring and developing engineers, setting objectives and development plans, facilitating collaboration, aligning with product and business priorities, and designing, writing and testing solutions, performing code peer reviews, and responding to incidents and support escalations.
