What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement named Account or Territory plans geared at both maximizing expansion opportunities across a wide portfolio of products and ensuring a high bar of customer success.

About the role

Product Foundation consist of 2 main pods: Alerts & Notification, and Ecosystem. The Alerts & Notifications pod owns the core alerting functionality in Sentry. The Ecosystem pod owns connectors to other SaaS tools to send these alerts. The team focuses on projects that will embed Sentry tightly with our users’ workflows, and provide actionable insights on issues in their code so they can fix them. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team.

In this role you will

  • Build and maintain features/integrations with other SaaS services using React (TypeScript) and Django (Python) in our open-source codebase
  • Have opportunities to work on high-impact projects that touch the entire stack: understanding the event ingestion pipeline; delving into search and storage systems; and surfacing that data to our customers on our backend and frontend codebases (did we mention that almost all of them are open-source?)

About the role

Engineering organizations use Sentry to triage and debug production software issues and they want Sentry to be integrated with their internal tools or other SaaS apps (e.g. GitHub, Jira, Slack, etc). The Ecosystem team enables their use-cases by maintaining a suite of business-critical core integrations, and providing an integration platform for new apps to build against.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the team.

In this role you will

  • Build and maintain features/integrations with other SaaS services using Django (Python) and React (TypeScript) in our open-source codebase
  • Build and maintain API tooling and related services, and help engineers across the company to adopt them in their teams
  • Design and implement scalable interfaces that can be reused within broad categories of SaaS apps (e.g. communication apps like Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams)

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

  • Zone A: $184k - $220k 

  • Zone B: $165k - $198k 

  • Zone C: $152k-183k

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement named Account or Territory plans geared at both maximizing expansion opportunities across a wide portfolio of products and ensuring a high bar of customer success.

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and targets.

  • Identifying and qualifying leads, building relationships with key decision makers, understanding customer needs, delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with C-level and other executive relationships.

  • Understanding client needs and proposing appropriate solutions to meet those needs.

  • Collaborating with internal teams such as channel, marketing, product, and customer success to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with clients.

  • Traveling to meet clients and attend industry events as necessary.

What you’ll do

As a manager of our Security Response Engineering team, you will play a key role in scaling and managing the operational security functions in Atlassian. Reporting to the Head of Detection and Response, you will lead a team of technical professionals, collaborate across global teams, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operational security functions, automation engineering, leadership, and a proven track record of managing security teams.

  • Your responsibilities will include managing a team of security automation engineers, who support our Detections and Response function by building solutions to scale team processes, expand Detection and Response platform functionality, and enhance reliability of team capabilities.

  • You have an interest in working with colleagues to understand our operational processes and platforms to design solutions to scale our capabilities.

  • The use of machine learning and AI is critical to continued growth and scalability of our program and your experience and expertise in both of those areas will help set the team up for success.

  • We build many of our own tools, so having an strong background in software development is essential.

Your background

  • 3+ years working in security

  • 2+ years managing global team(s)

  • Experience working with Security Detection and Response functions

  • Experience in developing in and for public cloud environments

  • Experience developing automation in Python, Go, or Rust

  • Hands-on, proven experience developing and refining machine learning and AI models within security context

  • Experience using Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms

  • Experience using common Detection and Response tools and platforms

  • Experience leading projects from start to finish and mentoring other security practitioners


It's great, but not required, if you have:

  • Published contributions to the security community

  • Presentation experience at industry events

  • Experience working with compliance, privacy, IT, networking, or related functions

Your Future Team
We’re looking to add a Senior Data Scientist to the Loom Product team to help us drive activation, engagement and retention by driving value for both creators and viewers on our platform. The Core Product team at Loom is taking AI-led bets to transform video creation and editing, we’re looking for an data science excelling in using data insights to shape the team’s direction.

We use rich, complex datasets and for wide variety of analytical tasks, ranging from conducting ad-hoc research, creating dashboards, building funnels, designing and evaluating tests, crafting complex database queries and ETL pipelines, and developing sophisticated predictive models. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, intellectually curious, and a clear communicator.

Your Role

  • Collaborate on a variety of product and business problems with a diverse set of cross-functional partners and become a trusted strategic partner through the structure and clarity of your work.

  • Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for our business and help solve the business's biggest challenges.

  • Focus on developing hypotheses through analytical approaches, different methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches to test them.
