About the team

You will be joining Adaptavist's research team which is composed of four members globally. This team works as a service within Adaptavist through the UX Research Service Desk. Their mission is to help product teams build the right products and make sure that they are useful and usable. This team also helps Adaptavist become more customer-centric, synthesising customer insights to inform business decisions, product development and ensuring that our product line fits customers' needs.


About the role

The Senior Customer Insights Researcher will be part of a core Research Team that helps the organisation make informed decisions by identifying new market opportunities, evaluating products' market position against their competitors, and finding the most effective methods to market products.

As the Senior Customer Insights Researcher, you will be either primarily responsible for collecting, analysing and presenting quantitative and qualitative research or acting as a consultant to guide the research process, from planning to delivering insights. You will also participate in identifying new market opportunities, to diversify Adaptavist's product portfolio and customer base segmentation to aid messaging and pricing strategies.

An overview of this role

A strong partner ecosystem is crucial in the success and growth of  GitLab’s business. Partners are a strategic imperative for GitLab’s continued growth and market expansion. As customer requirements become more complex we need partners with capability and capacity to help customers implement, support and grow their usage of GitLab.  We work closely with cross functional leadership to ensure partners are integrated throughout the sales cycle both pre and post sales. Partner Account Managers (Internal name is Ecosystem Sales Managers) are critical in recruiting and building relationships with partners. What you’ll do

  • Responsibilities: Leads major ecosystem partner initiatives, develops long-term strategic plans for ecosystem partner growth.
  • Interaction: Extensive communication both internally at senior levels and externally with major partners.

Responsibilities

  • Supports GitLab’s strategic large prospects and customers.
