Zendesk QA (formerly Klaus) is hiring for a hybrid role in Estonia to build and improve customer feedback and quality assurance tools at scale for Zendesk’s platform used by over 170,000 businesses.
The tech stack centers on TypeScript and Node.js with GraphQL and Kafka, and also touches Golang, Java, PostgreSQL/MySQL, REST/gRPC, plus Kubernetes, AWS, and GitHub Actions in a monorepo.
You’ll focus on a full-stack Node.js survey-sending service, with opportunities to work on other parts of the QA app, while optimizing performance, implementing security/data protection, performing code reviews, and writing automated tests in 2-week sprints with a high degree of independence.
Requirements include at least 2 years of full-stack Node.js experience (or equivalent), solid SQL/database knowledge, experience with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS), and strong English communication for remote collaboration.
Zendesk emphasizes a diverse, inclusive workplace, notes that AI screening may be used in hiring, offers accommodations for disabilities, and supports hybrid work with offices worldwide.
