Zendesk is seeking an AI Sales Specialist (quota-carrying) for the AMER region in the EMC segment to prospect, demo, and close the full Zendesk AI portfolio alongside Core Account Executives, delivering value-driven solutions. Key duties include owning sales quotas, collaborating with the core sales team to drive revenue from both existing Zendesk accounts and new business, and building relationships using a value-based selling approach to align AI offerings with customer goals. The role also requires leading approved AI proofs of concept, partnering with the AI Success team to identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities, and supporting commercial modeling and forecasted automation rates to maximize ARR. AI enablement duties involve acting as a subject matter expert, owning enablement initiatives in the territory, and ensuring Core AEs receive product updates, plays, and market insights to aid prospecting and qualification. Requirements include proven quota-carrying sales experience (preferably in Conversational AI or CX), excellent communication skills, willingness to travel, experience in an overlay/co-sell role, and Zendesk’s commitment to hybrid work, diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity, and accommodations.
