The role is Senior Professional Services Technical Architect in Japan, a key technical leader who guides complex engagements from discovery through design, delivery, and validation, ensuring solutions align with customer goals and GitLab best practices while acting as a trusted advisor across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services.
Responsibilities include delivering high-level architectures for GitLab deployments (infrastructure, security, and integration), leading large-scale migrations to GitLab using Congregate, and deploying environments on-premises or in the cloud with the GitLab Environment Toolkit, Terraform, and Ansible, along with DevSecOps consulting and AI-assisted development with GitLab Duo.
You’ll plan and deliver Statements of Work, lead cross-functional delivery teams, mentor consultants, vet partner resources, stay current on product releases, and apply DORA metrics to help customers improve software delivery performance.
