The Senior Ecosystem Sales Manager role, based in Mumbai or Delhi, is a senior, market-facing position responsible for building and scaling GitLab's partner business in India across hyperscalers, large India-centric SIs, and born-in-the-cloud/AI-native partners, with authority to own strategic partnerships.
Key duties include developing strategic partner relationships, owning hyperscaler management and Marketplace motions (AWS and/or GCP), growing SI and AI-native partnerships, driving partner-sourced pipeline and quota, and coordinating with the India sales and APJ ecosystems teams to shape the India coverage model and enablement programs.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years in channel/partner management or ecosystem sales, broad experience across multiple partner types, a strong network with India's major SIs and cloud partners, comfort with partner-sourced revenue quotas, and fluency in India English; they should be based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai or Delhi, with nice-to-have experience at a hyperscaler and familiarity with GitLab.
