The QA/Test Automation Engineer will design, implement, and evolve automated testing frameworks using Selenium for client projects and act as a remote QA expert on partially outsourced teams to ensure high software quality and reliability. The role focuses on building, executing, and maintaining automated test suites and collaborating with internal developers and product teams to integrate testing into deployment pipelines. Responsibilities include automation development, defect tracking with detailed logs and reproduction steps across embedded software, backend, and system integrations, and establishing and improving software quality processes and best practices. It requires defining testing strategies across the full software development lifecycle, guidelines for test case design/coverage/traceability/documentation, driving test automation strategy and CI/CD integration, and familiarity with code generation tools. Additional duties include defect management and root cause analysis processes, continuous improvement loops, planning for system/simulation/hardware-in-the-loop environments when needed, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and cybersecurity requirements.

The role is an Atlassian Technical Consultant helping customers maximize Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related productivity tools (including Slack) by integrating systems, automating processes, and delivering value through expert guidance and hands-on setup, migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning. The position includes pre-sales activities such as defining scope, providing estimates, proposing solutions, and maintaining knowledge of the Atlassian product suite and related technologies. Daily responsibilities include Atlassian solution consultancy: gathering requirements, researching and presenting solutions, communicating with stakeholders, and participating in on-site work as needed. In solution implementation and delivery, responsibilities cover installations, upgrades, migrations, and custom design/implementation of workflows, plugins/scripts, and configuration. Additional work involves scripting in Groovy and Python, database administration and querying, web integration via REST APIs, and system administration on Linux and Windows.
