Account Manager EMEA 

Reporting to the EMEA Sales Manager, the Account Manager role within SmartBear is an integral part of our continued success. You will be a trusted advisor to our most valued customers, driving both their success and that of SmartBear. 

This position will drive the growth of SmartBear through new and cross sell opportunities.

It is truly an exciting role for the right person, dealing with companies in EMEA that will support and drive our revenue growth.

For this role, you need to be relationship builder. Someone who can engage with customers at all levels to communicate the value of our software portfolio and helping support the customer with achieving their business goals.

Successful candidates are required to be on site in the Galway office min 3 days a week.

Ideally to be successful in this role you will already be displaying the following characteristics:

  • A demonstrable track record of selling high value and transactional deals
  • Highly organised, results driven and extremely self-motivated
  • Accountable and interest in continuous learning to master your craft.
  • Extensive communication skills, you should be equally as comfortable speaking with a manual tester as you would be with senior level executives by phone and email

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Billings and ARR within a defined territory
  • Discover, prospect and qualify new opportunities as well as up-sell opportunities within existing customer base
  • Represent SmartBear to the customer in all sales-related matters and understand the customer’s business, product requirements, and industry challenges
  • Direct complex sales cycles-including account mapping, development of high-level relationships, account strategies, and business cases
  • Effectively maintain sales pipeline data and activity reports, providing management with accurate sales forecasts
  • Collaborate with SE’s, marketing, Channel and product owners to share account knowledge and execute on sales strategies
  • Work closely with Customer Success team to ensure successful roll-out, adoption and on-going use of the product
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of SmartBear solutions to prospects and customers
  • Self-motivation, time management and personal accountability; overall hunter mentality with entrepreneurial spirit.

About the role

SmartBear is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Controllership team and play a critical role in scaling our financial function. The Assistant Controller will be instrumental in leading the day-to-day accounting while also influencing the strategy and direction of the team. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and driving continuous improvement. This is a perfect role for a financial leader who will thrive in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. The Assistant Controller will report to the SVP, Corporate Controller and oversee the Corporate Accounting team.


As the Assistant Controller you will:

  • Manage and develop a high performing team of accounting professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage the global monthly closing cycle, including oversight of reconciliations and financial reporting and partnership with FP&A on managerial reporting
  • Manage the accounting and financial operations for a complex multi-entity, multi-currency global company including areas of consolidation, revenue, general ledger, treasury, payroll, payables, capitalized software, intercompany, debt and equity while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local accounting requirements and internal policies
  • Lead financial related audits and partner with the Tax Director to support tax related audits
  • Build meaningful and trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders across business units and functions  
  • Continuously review and enhance financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and systems to align with best practices and evolving business needs
  • Support new business initiatives and other major change management impacting financial statements and related systems
  • Manage the preparation of revenue and cash forecasts in collaboration with FP&A to support the planning and execution of financial strategies and company objectives

We are looking for you if you have:

Growth Marketing Manager

SmartBear is seeking a full-stack marketer to join our team and own the growth marketing strategy for one of our product groups in the SmartBear family of tools. You will be responsible for building the demand engine, with goals around increasing awareness, driving quality leads and trials that convert to opportunities and pipeline revenue, and optimizing conversion points throughout the marketing funnel.
 
The Growth Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Growth Marketing, and will work closely with sales and product leadership, as well as product marketing, web, and digital marketing teams to plan, execute and optimize demand generation programs across a variety of marketing channels. 
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Define, build, and execute demand generation strategies and campaigns focused on driving highly-qualified leads to sales
  • Coordinate with sales team to optimize lead volume and quality with the goal of generating high-value opportunities
  • Find new channels for promoting SmartBear products through organic and paid marketing tactics
  • Build and optimize nurture programs for prospect, leads, and trial users
  • Develop content marketing strategy and work with internal and external writers to build out a library of compelling resources to grow inbound leads and build market awareness
  • Partner with ABX team to drive demand in key accounts and with product team and other marketers on PLG efforts.
  • Track marketing budget for product(s) and measure ROI of marketing spend
  • Work with digital marketing team to define advertising strategy through Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other developer-focused ad platforms
  • Work with digital team to conduct A/B tests around increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of all marketing channels and then inform sales and product teams on the key learnings of each of these tests

  • 4+ years of experience planning and executing multi-channel lead generation programs for a B2B product
  • Ability to review marketing analytics (traffic, leads, conversions), report results to the business, and come up with data-driven action items, based on the results

About the role

We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the BugSnag Infrastructure team. You will be working alongside a small, talented team based predominantly in Bath, UK. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems.   • Reporting into the Support Manager you will be required to solve the customer escalated issues on priority and assist the Support team in problem resolution by hands-on participation, effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
  • You will debug the customer issue using the application code and provide the patch for the customer when it required.
  • You will interact with Engineering, QA and Support team while working on the Support escalated Cases.
  • We are looking for someone who can debug within the application code and provide solution to customer reported issues.
  • Also should be able to talk to customer in the call and provide technical explanation on their issue.
  • Also should provide the detailed RCA on the problem.
  • Should be able to provide the customer patch when needed.
  • Have 2-3 years of experience with hands on experience working in Java 8 platform or higher and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field required.
Note-
Should be able to provide on-demand weekend support
Willing to do rotational shift and on call.
